Life in Haiti--fall and winter of 2006-07

I came to Haiti on sabbatical from my day job, which is teaching in a medical school in Macon, Georgia. I work here in the Hospital Albert Schweitzer, which is a hospital founded 50 years ago by a man who was inspired by the life of Albert Schweitzer, who had founded the original hospital in Lamborene, Gabon thirty years earlier. Most days, I work on the wards of Internal Medicine, and in the clinics seeing patients. Herein are pictures of how I spend my free time, traveling around Haiti on weekends.
